GridGear is a specialty sourcing and brokerage business focused on scarce electrical infrastructure equipment. We help buyers locate available transformers and switchgear faster than traditional procurement channels often deliver, while helping sellers monetize surplus, unused, used, and removed assets that may otherwise be difficult to market efficiently.
The market problem is straightforward: critical electrical equipment is increasingly difficult to source on acceptable timelines. Data center growth, utility grid expansion, industrial electrification, and aging infrastructure are all increasing demand, while new equipment lead times remain long and secondary-market inventory stays fragmented.
Our long-term goal is to help as many customers and as many projects as we can. We start as a capital-light sourcing partner, building supply relationships, organizing equipment documentation, and matching qualified supply to buyer demand with speed and discipline.
